Ask your gardener if they can increase the amount of hours they work at the garden, or if you do not already have one, make enquiries and seek a reliable gardener that can maintain the lawn, trees and shrubs – perhaps they may need to creating a planting plan based around the marquee.

Preparing Your Home
You may wish to redecorate, or create a temporary bedroom or dressing area from an unused office or sitting room space. Alternatively, a simple freshen up can help create restful areas where guests can reside and the bride can change on the morning of the wedding day.

Event Management
Event Management companies and individuals may assist you with organisation pre-wedding, to alleviate the pressure on you, often the cost is similar to what it may have been anyway. This is largely due to a Management company having good contacts, and they will be happy to negotiate lower prices.

Traditional or framed, the size of the marquee you choose is dependent on the number of guests you have – not all of us will have millions of spectators when we get married, but it can be surprising just how many guests you will have on your guest list.

Also important is the site or venue at which you wish to erect your wedding marquee. We would always recommend that the company you choose visits the site to assess it’s suitability. This ensures that the marquee can be erected safely, and that the amount of guests you will invite will fit comfortably inside the marquee.

By having a visit to site, you will get the opportunity to discuss your requirements, and ask important questions about safety, and about other rental items that you may need such as chairs, tables and other furnishings.

Some couples choose to hold the whole celebration within the marquee, whilst other couples opt to hold the reception, dinner and disco in the marquee after holding the ceremony at a church or alternative venue.

The final thing to mention is that by selecting a hotel to house your wedding marquee, your guests have the option to choose to stay in rooms at the hotel. They may choose to use the car parking and other facilities there too.
